Stopped in for a quick bite just before closing and was pleasantly greeted and served. Mambella's is an up scale sandwich shop with some tables inside and a few picnic tables outside. Decided to try the Muffuletta panini with hot peppers. The sandwich was quite large and had a large portion of quality salami, ham, and provolone cheese. Will stop back in when in the area to sample some of the other menu selections.

This place is incredibly convenient given its location but I think I'd still rather make the drive to Vincenzo's for Italian sandwiches. Decent but not outstanding food at okay prices given the quality. I went somewhat close to the end of their day on a Friday afternoon and there was no one there. The process is streamlined and self-explanatory, but I felt the staff who were around could have been friendlier.

Took a wild guess with this place and was not disappointed! Food was great, fast, very friendly staff, and prices were fair. Strongly recommend!

Yummy fresh Italian food. :) I ordered two paninis to have a taste of each one: beef boss and Greek is a part of Italy. They assemble and grill the panini after you order. The beef boss was one of the bests I've ever had...it came with a few layers of tender roast beef slices, horseradish yums :p, mustard, etc. The Greek one was okay. The chicken was a bit dry and the olives plus cheese together were a tad salty. Really efficient service although it can get quite busy, and still remaining really happy and nice employees! :) Close to my building in waterloo.

This is probably my favorite Italian deli in town. I should probably work on cutting carbs but I can't seem to stray myself away from their panini's. The Mambella's (special?) panini (the one with a yellow sticker on the board) was probably my favorite. I'm not a big fan of olives but their olives did not bother me too much. The meat and cheese combination was scrumptious and the bread was freshly toasted - crunchy on the outside and not too soggy on the inside. My second favorite was the vegetarian panini. Minus 1 star because the white vinegar dressing made my panini a bit too sour. Every time I come here, I spend a good 2 mins starring at their cookie jar. Would try some of their desserts next time.
